How about adding a trader rating?
I see a lot of boards that have seller/buyer ratings.

I agree.
I also get a lot of PM's about sellers ...... asking me to rate them in PM's. I think this would benefit both buyer and seller.

If that is the system then I guess it will work but sometimes forums will put a feedback rating each user's profile. That is what I was suggesting. Here is an example: ![]() I like this system because all transactions are attached to the user's profile. You don't have to search for each one. It also gives you a total feedback score like 100% seller or 90% buyer. I like that system. I appreciate you suggesting the Heroes and Zeros but I kind of view that as something extraordinary in either direction.. I meant to start a thread on Longboarder and Grommet. Those two guys walked me step by step through the R6 Shock Upgrade with pics, part #'s, etc.. LOL They practically installed it for me. Longbarder even went so far as to send me some Dogbones he had lying around. Those guys were awesome! That is what I thought of in that category. The rating system will allow prospective buyers/sellers to get a snapshot of the member's activity. IDK - just a suggestion ........

If it was only used for seller and buyers maybe. Otherwise I could see a lot of room for abuse.

if there is a place where it showed the rating one member made about another, and also showed a short written review of the transaction then perspective buyers and sellers could see actual info presented my members.

See post #4. You can do all of that there.

I don't think you realize how beneficial and easy to use the built-in trader-rating system is. Hardly anyone starts a thread when they have a positive trading experience. The trader rating system is very easy to use, and you can leave feedback in seconds.
Not sure why the mods keep it disabled here. ..a

While I posted up in the Heroes/Zeroes thread about some of the people that have really helped me out, I have done a lot of other trades that I'd like to show appreciation for.
And one that I'd like to give a WTF!? rating to, because although it wasn't really bad, it was pretty nutty. Guy was selling a Givi screen - I bought it and got a stock Yamaha screen in the mail. Sent it back on my dime, and I agreed to pay the return shipping but asked him if he really had the Givi and he repeatedly said he didn't. Then he sold the real Givi screen a few days later. I was out a few bucks but I was just like, whatever dude, go your own way.
