Wow, you guys in CA take the weapon lock thing pretty serious.. I've never even split open the plastic they wrap that crap in when they have put them in my gun box... It's not normally on. I'm moving so my I put the lock on to 'less concern' people who were checking out my room (still living in it while my housemates show it) and prevent them from doing something stupid whilst also not hiding it so they don't get any bright ideas for using the showing as an opportunity to stake the joint either. Unnecessary paranoia, but I don't have bag or box big enough. Yeah plenty of places to put it, but right there in my closet where I know I always leave it is fine with me, you know, just in case I need to beat someone with it. I'm pretty sure shooting with it in my room would disable myself and my assailant even if I miss.

I h ave like 400 .40 cases that I've collected + some ~200 9mm and ~200 .45. One guy asked me "What are you doing in here? You got guns and ammo everywhere..." I just said, "I just recently started collecting my brass at the range..."

Oh yeah, I did pick up a M&P .40 full size not too long ago and got an Apex FSS Trigger Kit. Beautiful. I've probably sent ~1300+ fault free rounds through it and am picking up reloading equip. once I get to the new house.
