I was looking in Competition Accessories, and it appears they have size 10 in stock.

The main prob I have with my older boots is that the hinges on the inside get hung up on the rearsets on the track bike...that's why I ordered the Cortechs. So now I just slap some duct tape on the boots and well....they dont get hung up any more. I think I read something in Cycle World where Ari Henning was having the same problem on the Aprilia with his high dollar Sidis. It's kindof unnerving when you are haulng ass at the track and your foot is stuck in the wrong place!!!

So...the zipper thing must be an ongoing issue. My replacement pair came in over the weekend. Took them out of the plastic and worked the zipper and it parted again - same way. I did not even bother to try them on. I'm done.

I was at Iron Pony over the weekend and saw these boots. I'm no podiatrist but its safe to say some key area are ankle, heel ,shin & toe area.
I notice on some of the lesser priced boots that you make a sacrfice in heel & toe structure. It will bend in when you squeeze with your hand. Try doing that test to a pair of Astars or Sidi. They are rock solid. When I squeezed the heel on the Latigo boots it pushed in. Not trying to piss on this thread but know what are getting with those boots. I have owned Cortech stuff in the past and they make decent stuff. Just know there are so some sacrifices with the heel on that boot. Toe, ankle and shin looked good. Especially the shin and ankle. |

Stick with Cortech Textile range... don't buy their leathers .. they have a long way to go ...
My Cortech impulse leather jacket broke its zipper and my gloves velcro also started peeling off ...

It is a super jacket, only problem are the zippers and stitching on the gloves. I loved that jacket until my wife started giving me too much heat about having so many jackets in different colors.

I need a pair of boots and am close to pulling the trigger on these. That zipper thing has me a tad worried. I googled the issue and did not find any other posts about it and the reviews on it do not mention a problem. Maybe just keep the receipt close and find a good return policy?

Spent 4 hours there. So a total of about 8 hours straight. Still comfortable, and zero zipper failure for me. I will be using them on the track several times this summer. I'll let you know how they are holding up.

Hats off to Bob's Cycle - they credited my card not only for the cost of the boots, but credited it back for both trips of shipping from my end (I included receipts).
While the boots didn't work out, I found a new quality seller in the process. They said they had another buyer that had an issue with the boots two weeks back as well. I'm jealous of those of you with zero issues. |

Got my Latigos in today. They seem quite good for the price and will fit people with normal feet. Sizing seems right on the money. Size 11 tennis shoes - size 11 Latigos. Zippers on mine seem fine. Tried them on with extra thick socks and zipped unzipped them several times under stress and they still worked fine. We'll see how they hold up.

I wore them in Arkansas for 3 straight days. About 900 total miles of all day comfort, in the twisties.
No failures at all.

Wore them for another 500 miles of southern Wisconsin twisties last weekend, on my CBR1000RR. Comfortable on that bike as well.
That makes about 2,000+ total miles so far, of comfort, with zero issues.

I wont keep a running mileage tally, but I thought I would add one more update.
I spent all week riding with these in Montana, and Wyoming. About 1,100 miles. I also did a fair amount of hiking on the rocks. Not bad soles for that, for short hikes, and you are careful. So I now have over 3,000 miles on the boots. Very happy!
