Gen 1 and Gen 2 Calipers interchange?

I am looking for a friend for some gen 1 calipers that he discovered would fit on his 1991 FJ1200. Brohay stated that he thought Gen 1 and Gen 2 calipers would interchange. Can anyone confirm or deny this? If they do not are there any other models that share the same calipers (front) as the first gen FZ1? I need the complete setup from the lever down.

I believe the Roadstar Warrior has the same calipers as the Gen 1...not positive though.

OK I checked partshark and the numbers for the calipers are different. I guess the difference could be internal or line location but not going to take a chance. I also cross referenced the Warrior and it had different numbers as well. So the search for calipers and information continues.....

Def Confirmed..

I have a Roadstar Warrior and they are the same as Gen II calipers. And yes Gen II calipers do fit Gen I..I have a set of Gen II calipers on my O1 as we speak.

BTW, the R-6s use the same caliper, same part number. Up to 2002 anyway.

As long as they are not radial mounted the bolt pattern is the same for all the mono block brakes. the only differance is the cap colors and on some the inlet line location. The pad P/Ns are the same for all of them.
