Penske shock length

Does any one know if the Penske 8983 shocks are the same length as the stock shocks. I can't go any higher on the seat height. Thanks for any info.

Penske 8983 Shocks are height adjustable, but they can be set up to be stock height.

Thanks. I have another question, What would you expect mileage wise on these shocks before they may need serviced/rebuilt? I don't know much about them other than they are great shocks.

25-35k before the first service... then, you replace the o-ring supplied by Penske with an aftermarket one, and you're good for about twice that ....

Talk to "sportryder" - Lee - for more details on that one.
