Aaron Clarkie Update.

The Original thread was lost, so I thought I would make sure that everyone gets the updates.

Aaron is still fighting through recovery, and though he has serious problems and lots of healing to go, he continues to make progress.

His site is a good place to watch for auction items and to check on his progress. A few words of encouragement in the guestbook goes a long way - as his wife and family are working hard to support and help him.

Look here:

Dont know him PJ, but if he is a friend of yours he must be a good person. Best wishes for his recovery. I have been in that boat before.

He's a great guy - I worked for him Doing Demo's for Aprilia, he's a Kiwi, and used to race for Aprilia in Australia. Great guys with a can do attitude and a smile for everyone.

And an amazing racer. Glad to hear he's doing better. Sad thing is he was starting to consider retirement shortly before his wreck. He was questioning the sanity of racing now that he has a family. Guess it's true what they say, once you start worrying about bad things happening, bad things happen.

PJ... The other racers seem to really respect him, as his name comes up frequently in TV interviews with other racers. my best thoughts go out to him and his.

Bump!

Aaron passed his swallow test!! He hasn't had the ability to swallow since the wreck, and this is a big step for him... This Kiwi just doesn't quit!

Bump and update.. I've been following Aaron almost daily - his family had him moved all the way home to New Zealand, and the medical care there is a bit better than what we're used to.

Check the site.. he's come a LONG way...
