email notification problems - Page 2

Well it is happening to me.
I've tried everything except to change my email account.
Never had a problem in the past, why now?
I've always used the setting "instant email notification"
for my subscribed threads. Not getting them anymore.
I still get PM's from other users, but no subscribed threads.
Maybe an admin or mod is screwin with me?

I really dont know.

FWIW, an update on my "mini-crisis".
I contacted AT&T about my perceived email block
and received a lot of confusing double talk about
who may be blocking who and they basically threw it all back in my lap.
I included the email header info from my last received email
from the FZ1OA, in hopes that they could decipher what it all means
as far as IP addresses go and who sent what who and when.
What I got back was a generic form letter saying "thanks, we are here to help you"
but no specific information regarding a solution for my case.

I guess the easiest solution was what was postulated by Pat here in this thread.
I set up a new free email account with a different provider (yahoo)
and linked it to my existing email account.
I also added it to my user info here in the FZ1OA.
Everything works like a charm again.

I am also not receiving any email notification nor pm's nor any acknowledgement to anything...my fear is that I am in some kinda purgatory and don't know it...I am going to cut my pinky finger off to see if I can feel pain and eliminate the purgatory thing....will report back shortly..that is if this isn't some kinda matrix thing.

my issues- yes the att account just stopped any notifications. ATT you suck!!! Long story short- I need to change my email address- can I just go in and change it or will there be an email sent to my original address that I have to authorize or confirm the email change? Ive already locked my account out once- I really don't want to bug admin again.

I just opened a new Yahoo mail account and linked it to my FZ1OA account info.
The Yahoo email account autolinks to your existing AT&T email account.

After I did that, everything was OK again, no help from AT&T.
When I notified them, they tried to put the cause back on me or the board,
the bastidges were of no help at all.
(Ha-ha, I guess I already said that)
