Who's using speed bleeders?
Any one using speed bleeders? Are the stainless pieces worth the extra (nearly double) dollars?
I started this thread in the Gen1 section, but it would be nice to have some input from the Gen2 guys, too. Speed Bleeders - Zinc chromate plating or Stainless

Well, I do but don't give much thought to that. If they were the same price I'd buy stainless, but don't think it's worth a premium..

There's a long speed bleeder thread around here somewhere, that's fairly recent. Use the Search function ya noob.

I am. Recently started a thread before I bought a set from Misha. Don't over think it, just do it. Get them from Misha at a good price for our members. I installed mine with the old fluid in the lines, then bled them. So quick and clean of a job, never have reason not to have fresh fluid in the system.

The ones with the zinc chromate plating, they are about $28 and the SS cost $48 or $20 more that the plated ones. I wonder if the SS are worth the extra $20.

I use speed bleeders on all my bikes. Way to easy to bleed the brakes. Worth the investment. Save your old stock bleeders so you can take your speed bleeders if you ever sell your bike.
