Here is a pic of my air box lid, modified for Ivan's full system kit.

As Ivan said, you only remove part of the ducting that drops down into the opening of the air filter.

1) Take your time and go easy with the rotary tool cutting disk on the ducting and on the ribbing.

2) I used the rotary tool grinding wheel to partially finish the ribbing.

3) Finish work with sand paper.
